Bob Phillips graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from Cal Baptist in ’86 and a Masters in Family Counselling from University of San Francisco in ’89s. He began working with Krista in 1992, beginning as a therapist and then transitioning into a case management position. In 2010, Bob officially became the Executive Director of Krista Foster Homes. He has been married to his wife Sharon for 38 years, is a dad to 9 kids, and a grandparent to 9 grandkids! When he’s not transporting kids or filling out paperwork, you can find him walking on the beach, at target practice, or playing with his grandkids.

Marc is a Redding local, and he works as the Reprographics Manager for the City of Redding. After having been a church youth pastor for several years, He worked as direct care staff for four years in teen group homes. After that, Marc and his wife were foster parents for over ten years, the majority of that time with Krista Foster Agency. They loved and parented over 60 kids during that season of our lives. They also legally adopted two of those kids and the sister of our adopted son they claim as our daughter. They have 3 bio kids and 9 grandkids (not counting any of the foster grandkids). Marc serves on the Board because we love people and want to continue to see kids grow into their full destiny!

Lance and his wife Rachel have lived in Redding for over 20 years. They have two daughters: Ella who attends Point Loma University in San Diego, Ca. and Kate who attends Foothill High School. Lance is active in our community, having served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA, leading Mentoring Groups on public school campuses which serve at risk youth in partnership with School Counselors and Directing NCAT, the Northern California Anti-Trafficking Coalition (see www.ncatcoalition.com). He also serves on the Pastoral Team at Bethel Church here in Redding. Lance is passionate about seeing children live in freedom and serving the children in our community!

Bret Christensen, a native of central Florida, has been living in the Redding area since 2009. He and his wife, Valda, have been married for 39 years, and they have four children and five grandchildren. With one of their children being adopted, Bret is particularly interested in Krista Foster Homes's work. He is a deacon at Bethel Church and is co-owner of Pacific Sky Creative, Inc., a marketing and design firm. In the evenings and weekends, he is usually chasing cows, goats, or chickens on the small hobby ranch that he and his wife own.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree or working towards a Master's degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school in social work or social welfare, marriage, family and child counseling; child psychology; child development; counseling psychology or social psychology.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, on-call as needed.
