Joseph J. Ostergren – Transitional Housing Program Coordinater

I’m the program coordinator for the Krista Transitional Housing Placement Program. I have been working at Krista since August of 2004. My mother and father were foster parents for Krista in 1992. Prior to Krista I worked in a felony offense group home for 3 years.
My beautiful wife and I have been foster parents with Krista since 2005. We have two sons Zachariah who is 7 years and Joseph who now is 3 years. We are going through the process to adopt my wife’s Niece Lyric who is 8 years old. We have two foster daughters 15 and 17 that fits in and complete our family of seven.
In 1998 I received a certificate in Residential Care Counseling from Shasta College. I recently started back at Shasta College to become a Parole officer for Shasta County.
