Bob Philips – Assistant Administrator
 

Hi, I’m Bob Phillips, the assistant administrator at Krista Foster Homes. I’ve been with Krista for about 8 years now. Diane Phillips is my sister-in-law. Obviously family is very important to me. That’s one of the reasons I’ve invested myself here; Krista is very family oriented.
Personally, my wife and I currently have 7 children ranging in age from 21 to toddler. Redding has been my home nearly my entire life. Serving Shasta County children is important to me because they are “our children”.
I began working with children while in college in Riverside, Ca.  I worked with 2 year olds at the “premier” preschool of the county. An assessment center and group homes followed. I continued in that vein during my master’s work, going from staff to therapist over the years. Coming to Krista seemed very natural. Working with Krista Foster Homes and Krista Transitional Housing Placement Program is an ongoing ministry to children, young adults, and families.
